My name is Elle (pronounced just like the letter, L) and it's so nice to e-meet you! I've been in business since 2021, but my story with photography started much earlier. After saving up for MONTHS, I bought my first real camera in seventh grade off of Facebook marketplace. I created my Instagram (same one I'm using today!) and began to post anything I captured.
Whether it was a birthday party, my brother's flag football games, or just moments with my childhood friends; I was never NOT taking pictures. Fast forward to my freshman year of college, I decided to upgrade my camera and see what I could do! I wanted to do anything possible to make this passion a bigger role in my life.
Today, I am beyond blessed to have made my dream a reality. I can't say thank you enough to those who have allowed me to continue to do what I love. I am truly the happiest behind the camera.

I'm from Austin, Texas (aka. I'm a queso connoisseur), and have called Reno home since 2018. I LOVE sharks and anything pink. I have a kitty named Gray who is the unofficial-official assistant for Shot By Elle K. When I'm not taking pictures I'm drawing, traveling, shopping or getting a Strawberry Açaí from Starbucks. I graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno (go pack BTW) and if in case I haven't said it enough... I LOVE MY JOB!
